How do you plan to use your new RCIAA position to take Rust to the next level?

As the 2020-2021 President of the RCIAA, it is my desire to operate within a technological and system driven process that will allow the Association to increase its membership, alumni philanthropic giving, clubs and incorporate a level of transparency and accountability.  My goal is to engage alumni by creating various committees and task forces to help support and achieve our mission and goals.

What are your fondest memories during your matriculation at Rust College?

As I reflect back to the early 80’s, every day was a great day at Rust.  The highlight for me was always Founders’ Weekend, Rust vs. LeMoyne-Owens basketball games, “the REC”, becoming a member of my beloved Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and representing as a campus queen, being a member of the Pom Pom squad, and meeting some of the best students who became lifetime friends.  My fondest memory was graduation day.
